Vidyarambam Annual Meet 2014

Date: June 21st and 22nd

Venue: Sir PittyThyagarayar Hall, T.Nagar, Chennai

Vidyarambam's annual meet which is the culmination of all activities of the academic year is slated to be held on the 21st and 22nd of this month. As in the previous years, we will have external speakers enlighten the audience on different topics and professional cultural troupes entertaining the gathering. People like ‘ArrattaiArangam’ Mr.Visu and ‘Villupattu’ Koththamangal Viswanathan& co.are to enthrall all of us with their thought provoking wit and humour. We will also have many colourful performances by the students of Vidyarambam. The event will also see the formal launch of our new program for teaching English to STD V students.

This most important event in the Vidyarambam calendar will see 400 akkas and many students from different corners of Tamilnaducongregate, exchange and celebrate. The best performers of the year among the staff and students will be felicitated. Please mark your calendars and give us the pleasure of your company on these special days of celebration.

CHENNAI CORPORATION APPROVES 50 SCHOOLS FOR ELE / ELM PROGRAMS

Here is an update we take great pride in sharing with all our donors, supporters and well wishers ... Chennai corporation has given Vidyarambam the approval to extend two of our programs - Easy Learning English (ELE) and Easy Learning Maths (ELM) to 30 and 20 schools respectively. From just 5 schools in 2012 to 16 schools in 2013 and to 50 schools in 2014 Vidyarambam has really proved the popularity of these two programs not only with the children but also the teachers, and principals. The programs truly capture the heart and mind of the children and allows them to learn ENGLISH and MATHSwithout fear of failure... We at Vidyarambam are excited about this opportunity to work with many more urban school children .
