31 May 08: Read India summer programme is getting completed in three Districts Thirunelveli, Thoothukkudi and Thanjavur. Five thousand and twenty centers started in 4520 villages. Evaluation will be done in Thanjavur district by the middle of June 2008.
19 April 08: Vidyarambam coordinators and master trainers took Training at the famous Isaiambalam
School in Pondichery for teaching English language in phonic method developed by the team of Isaiambalam.
14 April 08: Two week training on Spoken English for Vidyarambam trainers started at Sirkali.
30 December 07: Mass Evaluation of Centers in Progress. Simultaneous evaluation in all pre-primary centers taken up. Results awaited.
