Vidyarambam's mission can be continued successfully only if a number of educated and enthusiastic volunteers are able to appreciate the essence of the mission and dedicate themselves without the expectation of monetary benefits.
The volunteers can serve in any one of the following ways:
1. As a tutor in the same or nearby village in which he/she lives
2. As an assessor to visit centers and evaluate the progress of the children
3. As an administrative assistant
4. As an explorer who visits remote villages, identifies those villages needing literacy centers, establishes contact with a prominent person in the local area, identifies suitable tutors from the same area, and identifies children of 3-5 age group who have poor and illiterate parents
5. As an evaluator who visits the centers to evaluate the proficiency of the children.
6. As a coordinator
7. As a Motivator one could visit villages in Tamilnadu and motivate educated unemployed youth to volunteer to coach their own village children. Vidyarambam could help the village volunteers with Teaching Aids and Training free of cost.
The Trust will reimburse the travel and food expenses at actual cost or at the rates prescribed by the Trust. Also the Voluteers are paid an incentive of about Rs. 50/- to 100/- per day that he / she may spend for the Trust work.
